SHENZHEN’s Shekou Container Terminal Co has sent a life detection device together with two operators of the device to the earthquake ruins in Sichuan province on May 18 to help the rescue.

In addition, the company has also donated CNY200,00 for the disaster and organized fund-raising events among its employees to collect over CNY120,000.

All funds will be donated  to rescue and rebuilding in the wake of the earthquake through its parent company China Merchants’ charity organization.
