Maersk Launches New European Service at YICT

YICT welcomed a new European (AE3E) service operated by Maersk. The shipping line has deployed seven 5,000-TEU container vessels to the line-haul route, which includes a port rotation of Nanshan, Tanjung Pelepas, Suez Canal, Port Said, Damietta, Gioia Tauro, Port Said, Suez Canal, Singapore, Yantian, Nagoya, Yokohama and Shimizu. This new service calling at YICT is a direct response to an increase in demand for European routes during the peak shipping season.
