CMA CGM is to apply rate restoration programmes and peak season surcharges across its main trade lanes.

From 15 June, the line will implement an increase of US$200 per teu on cargo moving from the east coast of South America to the Caribbean, Central America and the west coast of South America.

For cargo moving from Asia to the US east and west coasts, rates will go up by $320 per teu, $400 per feu and $450 per feu high-cube.
