Safmarine is launching a new, direct, Far East to West Africa (via South Africa) containerised shipping service.
The shipping line will launch the new service, which will be known as FEW3, on August 12 and operate it jointly with Maersk Line.

According to Dirk Geens, Safmarine's Africa trade director, "The purpose of this new service is to strengthen Safmarine's existing portfolio of products ?C FEW 1 and FEW2 ?C calling West Africa directly from the Far East.
